After a chance encounter led Peter Andre to meet our chairman Ru MacDonagh, he has become a keen supporter of our work. Peter and Ru are to visit Zanzibar together during the first week of February so that Peter can see the project for himself... They will be accompanied by a tv crew filming for Peter's popular ITV show 'Peter Andre: My Life'.

This increased exposure for the project comes at an ideal time as we are now expanding and consequently changing our name from The Makunduchi Project to 'HIPZ - Health Improvement Project Zanzibar' and will very soon have a new web site to reflect this.
