Zanzibar Team
We have assembled a team of experienced individuals both in Zanzibar and the UK who are assisting us in taking this project forward. These include:
Dr Mohamed Jiddawi:
Consultant surgeon who has lived and worked his whole life in Zanzibar. Long-term collaboration with Ru in healthcare development. He is now the Principal Secretary to the Minister of Health in Zanzibar and widely respected for his track record in healthcare development.
Zainab Othman:
A nurse/midwife who was born in Makunduchi and worked previously for Save the Children. Zainab took up post as Makunduchi Hospital General Manager in Dec 2007.
